A Home in the Monochrome

In every color image I take, I see a black-and-white photographer trying to escape. It’s black-and-white or bust. Mine are pictures of rust, dents, and dust.

Even in color photography, I prefer a picture that’s bright, warm, and flat.

My definition of a photo document is an image made to the best of one’s abilities within the limitations at hand. Sometimes we are limited by equipment, knowledge, formats and file types. Wherever it is, push what you have to its best.
