A Home in the Monochrome

In every color image I take, I see a black-and-white photographer trying to escape. It’s black-and-white or bust. Mine are pictures of rust, dents, and dust.

Even in color photography, I prefer a picture that’s bright, warm, and flat.

My definition of a photo document is an image made to the best of one’s abilities within the limitations at hand. Sometimes we are limited by equipment, knowledge, or file formats.
