Makeshift Rangefinder
By most metrics, we’re lousy photographers, and that’s fine. 50mm might be the best focal length, and 35mm the best lens if we crop in a little.
You know, when we think about it, very few mirrorless cameras have optical viewfinders, and when one does, it’s generally well received.
There’s so much good, bad, and mediocre photography out there, and if lucky, we’ll dabble in each, likewise with words and thoughts.
An electronic viewfinder shows what our camera sees, and that’s not what I want. I want to point my camera at what I’m seeing — allowing a little life to happen outside the frame.
